The work begun by nearly a hundred participants offering their views on the future of the Lincolnville neighborhood over three days back in early 2013 has come to fruition with the appointment and now monthly meetings of the Lincolnville Community Redevelopment Area Steering Committee.
Meeting on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00pm at the Willie Galimore Center (399 Riberia St.), the five member steering committee is charged with advising and assisting the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA), which is the City Commission. Their input is critical for the planning and implementation of goals, programs, projects and activities related to the Lincolnville Redevelopment Plan adopted on April 8, 2013.
