City and Flagler College hosting conference November 15-16

General workshop is FREE to Florida residents and students
The City of St. Augustine and Flagler College, in cooperation with the Florida Trust for Historic Preservation and more than a dozen other organizations, are offering a conference on Historic Preservation, Building Codes and Resiliency.
Scheduled for Tuesday afternoon, November 15, and all day Wednesday, November 16, in The Alcazar Room, St. Augustine's City Hall, 75 King St., the conference features 16 speakers participating in presentations and panel discussions covering a wide range of topics including disaster management planning for cultural resources, building codes and historic buildings, and sea level rise with several speakers from the National Park Service, professionals in Florida as well as national experts.
The cost to Florida Trust members is $50 and non-members $100. The general workshop is available free of charge to Florida residents and students, but does not include the lunch, professional CEU credits, or the reception/tour. Free registrants (students and Florida residents) wanting to be included for the lunch and tour must register at the Florida Trust Member rate of $50.
